Description

• Assist in the navigation of the vessel and ensure its safe operation.
• Perform lookout duties while underway, keeping a vigilant watch for other vessels and hazards.
• Participate in deck operations including mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the deck and equipment.
• Support the officer of the watch and contribute to the smooth running of the operations on board.

Requirements

• Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent maritime training.
• Experience Level:1–3 years of experience in a maritime environment.
• Skills and Competencies:Basic seamanship skills and knowledge of safety protocols on board.
• Responsibilities and Duties:Ability to follow directives provided by senior officers and demonstrate a proactive approach.
• Qualities and Traits:Strong communication skills, teamwork mentality, and a commitment to safety.
• Working Conditions:Must be comfortable working on the water and in varying weather conditions.
