Job Description:

As a Container Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our Kubernetes (K8s) and AWS environments, ensuring their high availability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with the development team to design and implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and optimize the deployment and management of containerized applications. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and performing performance tuning to ensure stable operation of services.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain EKS clusters, including node scaling, troubleshooting, and version upgrades.

- Familiarity with common cloud-native CI/CD tools such as Tekton, ArgoCD, etc., with practical experience in GitOps.

- Proficient in Prometheus, Grafana monitoring systems, and log collection systems.

- Familiar with Java server container operations.

- Have a strong sense of online operations and ownership, with the ability to trace the root cause of each alert and address potential issues at their source.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Over 2 years of experience in Kubernetes and AWS operations, familiar with container deployment and microservices architecture.

- Proficient in Docker container technology, with experience in container orchestration and scheduling.

- Familiarity with the Linux operating system, capable of writing Shell scripts for automation tasks.

- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, able to collaborate with multiple teams to solve problems.

- Ability to learn quickly and solve problems independently, with a curiosity for new technologies.

Expected to work onsite in Osaka, Japan in 2026.
