We are seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Assistant Project Manager will coordinate daily activities, manage project documentation, track progress, and foster clear communication between team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
This role is ideal for an aspiring project professional looking to gain experience in project lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Assist in developing detailed project schedules, work plans, and timelines using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Documentation & Reporting: Organize and maintain all project documents, including contracts, plans, and reports. Prepare progress reports and update digital databases/project management information systems.
- Communication Hub: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure deliverables are met.
- Budget & Resource Tracking: Monitor project expenses, assist in cost analysis, and help track resource allocation.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation plans.
- Meetings & Action Items: Organize, attend, and document project meetings, tracking action items to completion.
