- Create and prepare menu items, ensuring both quality and cost efficiency, in line with the esteemed reputation of R E & S Enterprises Pte Ltd within the Food & Beverage industry.
- Manage kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of current culinary trends to keep our offerings innovative and appealing.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source the freshest ingredients.
- Maintain strict inventory and cost control without compromising on the art of culinary excellence.
- Educational Qualifications: No formal education required, though culinary training or certifications are advantageous.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in cooking, kitchen hygiene maintenance, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare and cook meals, ensure workspace cleanliness, follow recipes and presentation specifications, and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment, requirement to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, standing for extended periods.
- Qualities and Traits: Passion for cooking, ability to work in a team, adaptability to change, and desire to learn and grow culinary skills.
