Are you ready to take on an exciting role in the Geotechnical and Construction industry? We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Sales & Marketing Engineer to lead our sales and marketing efforts. About the Role
As a Sales & Marketing Engineer, you will be responsible for driving our business forward by managing all aspects of sales and marketing, building strong client relationships, and developing strategies to grow our customer base. Your expertise in technical solutions will play a crucial role in helping clients find the right fit for their geotechnical needs,
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to expand business opportunities in:
- Geotechnical Instrumentation & Monitoring Works
- Soil Investigation Works
- Laboratory Testing for Soil, Rock, and Construction Materials
- In-situ Site Testing (e.g., Sand Replacement, Site CBR, Plate Loading Test, Pile Testing – PDA & PIT)
- Installation of Recharge, Relief, Dewatering & Pumping Wells
- Pumping Test
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while growing the existing customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through active follow-ups and regular site visits, meetings and presentations
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service by collaborating with internal teams to address their needs.
- Prepare tender costing, quotations, and monthly sales performance reports.
- Set and achieve sales goals and quotas to drive business growth.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering or related fields (e.g., Geology, Construction, Testing).
- Experience: Preferably 5 years of sales experience in a similar industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Civil & Geotechnical Engineering works and geotechnical solutions is a plus.
- Networking: Strong industry connections and a solid understanding of geotechnical practices.
- Mobility: Possesses a valid Class 3 driving license with own car (preferred) or rides a motorbike.
- Sales Skills: Confident in making cold calls and building lasting client relationships.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Track Record: A proven history of sales and marketing achievements will be an added advantage.
