Job Description
Description
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on web applications, systems, and networks to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security testing strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage across various IT systems.
- Manage and configure security systems, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and threat monitoring solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive security analysis reports, detailing vulnerability descriptions, risk impact, and mitigation recommendations to enhance security posture.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with industry security standards.
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats promptly, as well as evaluate security incidents to minimize potential impact.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and industry best practices to ensure systems remain secure and resilient.
Requirements
- Experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment, particularly on web applications, networks, or cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of security standards (OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001) and best practices for system security.
- Proficiency in source code auditing and identifying vulnerabilities in popular CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Expertise in using security tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark, and other security testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of system architecture, network protocols, and IT infrastructure security.
- Scripting and programming skills (PHP, Python, Java, or Shell scripting) for automation and security exploitation.
- Security certifications (OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or others) are preferred and considered an advantage.
