1. Lead and manage the development of core backend systems, including:

• Edge Services: Product Backend, Notification Server, Authentication Server.
• Smart Contract Sync: Ensuring consistency between smart contract data and our databases.
• Native wallet enhancement: Work on optimising the performance of our wallet
• Testing: Enhance quality by adding unit/regression tests

2. Oversee functional projects such as:

• KYC processes for onboarding.
• Marketing and rewards build.
• Development and maintenance of internal portals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Web/Mobile engineering teams, to ensure cohesive product development and implementation.
• Strengthen GRVT’s authentication technology stack by working closely with the Head of Security to enhance security features like multi-factor authentication (MFA), WebAuthn, and secure session management.

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience with Golang, including at least 3 years in a senior role (7-10 years of overall software development experience preferred)
2. Strong academic background is an advantage** (preferred fields include computer science, electrical engineering, informatics, mathematics, physics, applied sciences, or related disciplines)
3. Possesses business level English with stakeholders and colleagues.
4. Demonstrated experience as a senior-level individual contributor (IC) specializing in Golang
5. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-month projects
6. Strong understanding of technology best practices relevant to the project stack
7. Proficiency in API backend development, distributed systems, and middleware
8. Solid product acumen
9. Experience with feature delivery projects
10. Background in frontend integration (blockchain integration is a plus)
11. Previous experience working cross-functionally with PMs, designers, and other stakeholders.
12. Experience at top-tier engineering firms or leading local companies (especially in retail products) is highly preferred
