Description

Store Operations & Team Management

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth service and efficiency.
  • Manage and mentor staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain high standards of tea quality, presentation, and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and sales.

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Drive store revenue and achieve sales targets, including upselling and customer engagement.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Create a welcoming and knowledgeable environment that educates customers about Chinese tea culture.

Financial & Business Management

  • Analyse financial reports and manage store budgets to optimize profitability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock efficiently to meet sales demand.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements to enhance store performance.

Research & Development

  • Collaborate with the team to provide feedback on new tea blends and seasonal offerings.
  • Opportunity to participate in procurement trips to source new tea varieties, explore innovative tea options, and strengthen supplier relationships.

Requirements

Education: Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.

Experience: 3-5 years in restaurant or retail store management, preferably in the F&B industry.

Language: Mandarin is compulsory – You will be working closely with suppliers, partners, and customers who speak Mandarin.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive and maintain focus in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Chinese tea culture knowledge or interest is preferred, along with a strong willingness to learn and innovate.
