Description
- Source and evaluate suppliers for machine parts and materials locally and globally.
- Continuously identify new suppliers and review existing ones to maintain a pool of qualified options.
- Work with suppliers to order quality products, negotiate terms, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate on schedules, quality, and specifications.
- Manage project costs and ensure data accuracy.
- Manage inventory and purchase orders.
- Collaborate with teams such as design, engineering, and assembly to ensure cost savings and on-time project delivery.
- Enforce procurement policies and procedures both internally and externally.
- Assist in arranging training sessions with suppliers for designers or engineers when needed.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Some technical knowledge of machine components.
- Familiarity with SAP and MS Office.
