Job Description

Cook SkillKitchen Hygiene

Description

  1. Preparation of menu items: The cook is responsible for preparing all the menu items according to the recipes and specifications set by the head chef.
  2. Food safety: The cook must adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of the food being served to customers.
  3. Inventory management: The cook must keep track of the ingredients and supplies needed for the menu items, and must inform the head chef or manager if they need to be reordered.
  4. Kitchen organisation: The cook must keep the kitchen clean and organized, and must follow proper storage procedures for food, supplies, and equipment.
  5. Cooking and plating: The cook must be able to cook all menu items to the required standards and must plate the dishes beautifully and creatively to enhance the customer's dining experience.
  6. Communication: The cook must communicate effectively with the head chef and other kitchen staff, as well as with the waiters and bartenders, to ensure that orders are being prepared and served in a timely manner.

  • Attitude: Team Player, Friendly, Service-oriented
  • Able to work on Weekends and Public Holidays
