Description
- Provide practical support and care to patients including bathing, feeding, and dressing
- Assist healthcare professionals with the implementation of care plans
- Monitor patient condition by recording vital signs and reporting any changes
- Ensure a clean and safe environment within the healthcare setting
- Maintain patient dignity and confidentiality at all times
Requirements
- Experience Level: No previous experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills and Competencies: Effective communication, basic health and safety knowledge, willingness to learn.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Assist in patient care, support daily living activities, maintain a clean environment, follow healthcare professionals' instructions.
- Working Conditions: Hospital or care home settings; shift work including nights and weekends may be required.
- Qualities and Traits: Compassionate, patient, attentive to details, ability to work as part of a team.
