• Set up and operate deep hole boring machines to produce parts according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute accurate machining processes.
• Monitor machine operations to detect issues, adjusting tools or materials as necessary for optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance on deep hole boring equipment to ensure operational efficiency and machine longevity.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products, utilizing measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold company standards for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members, engineers, and quality assurance staff to resolve any machining challenges or discrepancies.

• Proven experience as a Deep Hole Boring machinist in a metalworking or heavy industrial environment.
• Experience with manual lathe/mill, CNC turn/mill is acceptable.
• Strong understanding of metal properties, cutting tools, and machining processes.
• Able to read mechanical drawings.
