Job Description

Description

  • Prepare and cook smoked meat dishes, including beef brisket, pork ribs, grilled chicken chop, pasta, and sliders, with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with other chefs to develop and refine menu items, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to meet demand
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Uphold Oak & Ember's commitment to high-quality standards in food preparation and presentation
  • Adhere to recipes and portion sizes, while also contributing creative ideas for menu improvement


Requirements

  • Culinary diploma or related field preferred
  • No official experience required. Training can be provided
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak service hours
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
